Photoshop and Lightroom are both excellent photo editing software options, but they’re not the only ones out there. Photoshop also has Lightroom’s image editing capabilities through Adobe Camera Raw, which fires up when a Raw image is opened from Photoshop. You can process a photo in Lightroom and then press command E or control E to pass it off to Photoshop, where you can fine-tune it. The two are designed to work seamlessly with each other. I still have Lightroom v.6.14, the last stand alone version and have tried converting the oly RAW to DNG but does not seem to work. It is quick, the changes in RAW are immediately available and I can continue to use workspace for any additional changes I want to make.
